I love cake, but I also love fitting into the ski outfit I wore when I was in high school (and it seems like you can't have both:) so I'm always looking for a way to create something delicious, healthy and easy! Here's my recipe for a Carrot Cake Smoothie. It has protein, fruits, veggies, healthy fats and carbs.....everything that you could want.
In a vitamix blender:
1 quartered, peeled carrot
1 frozen banana (halved)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
a pinch of cinnamon
a large handful of ice
1 tbsp of walnuts
1 scoop of Isapro vanilla protein.
Blend till smooth and enjoy this delicious Carrot cake smoothie recipe. Note: I really think that you need a vitamix to make this recipe. A regular blender may not pulverize the carrot enough. Enjoy!
